1. Acceptance
By installing or using SteadyDay, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the app.
2. What SteadyDay is — and isn't
SteadyDay is a wellness pacing tool, not a medical device. It computes a daily activity capacity score and budget from your HealthKit data and helps you avoid overexertion.
SteadyDay is NOT:
- A medical device
- A substitute for medical advice
- A diagnostic tool
- A treatment
The CPET walkthrough is a self-administered estimate, not a clinical cardiopulmonary exercise test. It does not replace a clinician-administered CPET or any other medical evaluation.
Always consult your healthcare provider before changing your activity levels, especially if you have a chronic illness or cardiovascular condition.
3. SteadyDay Plus subscription terms
SteadyDay offers an optional paid upgrade with the following tiers:
Annual subscription
- Price: $49.99 USD per year (or local-currency equivalent)
- Free trial: 7 days, available once per Apple ID
- Auto-renewal: the subscription auto-renews 24 hours before the end of each period unless cancelled
- Cancellation: at any time via iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → SteadyDay Plus
- Refunds: handled by Apple per Apple's standard refund policy. Request via reportaproblem.apple.com
Lifetime purchase
- Price: $129 USD one-time (or local-currency equivalent)
- Family Sharing: enabled — the lifetime purchase can be shared with members of your Apple Family Sharing group
- No recurring billing
- Refunds: handled by Apple per Apple's standard refund policy
What "Plus" unlocks
- CPET walkthrough
- Hume Health wristband integration
- Caregiver sharing
- Full trends history (free tier shows last 7 days)
- Score change log
- CSV / JSON data export
4. Free trial details
The 7-day free trial is offered once per Apple ID, on the annual subscription only. If you don't cancel before the trial ends, you'll be charged the annual price.
5. Apple's role
All purchases are processed by Apple via the App Store. Refunds, cancellations, and family sharing are managed by Apple. We don't receive your payment information.
6. Your responsibilities
- You will use SteadyDay only as intended — for pacing your daily activity.
- You will not push through symptoms during the CPET walkthrough.
- You will stop using the app and consult a healthcare provider if you experience chest pain, dizziness, fainting, or other warning signs.
- You will not rely on SteadyDay for medical decisions.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Convergent Systems Co. is not liable for:
- Any health outcome, positive or negative, attributed to using SteadyDay
- Any decision you make based on the app's outputs
- Any data loss from your iPhone (back up your iPhone)
- Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
The app is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind.
8. Changes
We may update these terms; if we make material changes, we'll surface them in the app and update the effective date above. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
9. Termination
You can stop using SteadyDay at any time by uninstalling it. If you have an active subscription, cancel via iOS Settings to stop billing.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
